Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Houston, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Field Technician to join our construction materials testing team. You will perform testing and site observations under supervision, handling soil and concrete tests and documenting results in reports.

This role supports geotechnical and environmental service lines, offers hands-on training, and requires a valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% plus the physical capability to lift 30–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BS Civil Engineering preferred.
• Certifications listed may be beneficial (ACI/NECEPT/TXDOT).
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment for soil, concrete or other tests and report data.
• Use drawings, specifications and diagrams to assess site activities.
• Make detailed observations and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results.
