ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join the Frederick team. No experience is required; you will receive paid training and support for certification. The role involves field observation, testing, and data collection under the guidance of senior staff.

Starting pay is $17 per hour with growth through experience and additional certification opportunities. Training emphasizes ECS methodologies and safety practices on construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift at least 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to learn CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample materials (soils, aggregates, concrete) at project sites under supervision.
• Perform field and lab tests following industry standards and safety rules.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and assist with drafting.
• Maintain communication with contractors, technicians, and managers; report site changes.
