Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete and verify compaction in active sites across the United States. You will run slump, air, temperature tests, and cast cylinders, reporting results the same day.

No experience required; we train and sponsor certifications including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety. Outdoor work is expected, with travel to multiple sites; you will learn to read jobsites, communicate with superintendents, and

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather on sites.
• Reliable, detail-focused, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus; company sponsors both.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
