Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete at various sites. You will perform slump, air, and temperature tests, run density checks, and cast cylinders while documenting results the same day.

Entry level positions are available with full training and sponsorship for ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety certification, and NICET Levels I–II as you progress. Outdoor work and travel are integral parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable outdoors in Gulf Coast heat and winter sites.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable; willing to train and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare daily field reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
