Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an entry-level service tech trainee to join our team. You will receive training to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fueling and charging equipment, while working with our field crews across various sites.

As training progresses, you may travel locally for sessions. The role involves 40+ hours weekly with potential overtime; lodging and meals during training are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Daily local travel is required.
• Lifting 50–75 lbs is involved.

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls at various locations including retail, commercial, hospitals, travel centers and government facilities.
• Complete all service call paperwork after each call.
• Communicate with service dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues in plain language to customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair dispensing units and POS systems.
• Install, program and test petroleum equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
