Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions in Savannah, GA seeks a service tech trainee for an entry-level role with on-the-job training to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot fueling equipment. Training, lodging and meals are paid by the company.

You will work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime possible, and join an on-call rotation after training. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50–75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Daily local travel and lifting 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine petroleum service calls at various sites.
• Complete accompanying service call paperwork after each call.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
• Troubleshoot and repair dispensing units and POS systems.
• Install and test petroleum equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
