Job summary

HOLT CAT in San Antonio is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to perform preventative field maintenance and electronic inspections on customer equipment.

You will use Holt Cat's tools, coordinate with dispatch, maintain service schedules, and provide superior customer service while adhering to safety policies. Up to 20% travel. High school diploma required; CDL within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to one year of experience with field or shop preventive maintenance preferred.
• Valid drivers' license with safe driving record required.
• Must be able obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive field maintenance work and electronic inspections.
• Maintains and communicates a field service schedule to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Adapts to changes in schedules and timelines.
• Obtains, packages, and submits required compartment fluid samples daily.
• Maintains service truck to present a professional image.
• Maintains safety and adheres to all policies.
• Travel up to 20% overnight.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
