Job summary

Burford’s Construction is seeking a General Laborer to support vegetation management and clearing for power grid infrastructure. You will assist the team with safe operation of equipment, basic maintenance, and active participation in storm restoration efforts as needed.

Entry-level role offering hands-on training in field operations, safety procedures, and teamwork. Must be able to work outdoors, lift 50 lbs, and communicate in English; CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• CDL preferred when possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vegetation management and clearance.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Participate in ongoing safety checks and PPE use.
• Support team to meet project objectives.
