Job summary

Burford's Construction is seeking an entry-level Trimmer C/General Laborer to support vegetation maintenance for the power grid. You will assist in removing vegetation, clearing rights-of-way, and supporting crew safety and efficiency.

The role involves physical outdoor work, reading simple instructions, and joining storm restoration efforts as needed. A valid driver’s license is required, with CDL preferred, and no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to perform extended physical labor outdoors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vegetation management and clearing.
• Support safety checks and PPE usage.
• Help team meet project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely.
