Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support underground and foundation projects. The role blends field and office work with opportunities to travel across North America, assisting with design, estimation, and construction execution.

Base compensation ranges from $82,000 to $88,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, retirement with matching, life insurance, disability, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering (civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, construction management).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel/relocate.
• Willingness to participate in field and office assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculations from drawings and specs.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, packages, and JHA's.
• Support in field surveying, layout, and as-built data collection.
• Assist in job cost data entry and cost reports review with management.
• Support in purchasing, subcontracts, and change order generation.
