Job summary

Kiewit is hiring an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to contribute to geotechnical and foundation projects across North America. You will assist in field and office tasks, including quantity takeoffs, scheduling, and coordination, while gaining hands-on experience on major transportation and underground projects.

You will work in a collaborative team, travel as needed, and participate in safety programs while pursuing a construction-related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field as listed.
• Prior construction/mining exposure is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationwide.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and take measurements on site.
• Assist in preparing work plans and job packages.
• Support field surveying and data collection including elevations.
• Assist in updating daily labor timesheets and cost records.
• Participate in safety reviews and toolbox talks.
• Support material delivery scheduling and coordination.
