Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co invites applications for an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer. This role supports field and office operations on underground and foundation projects across North America.

You will assist in drawings interpretation, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimating, with opportunities to travel and advance within a major construction group. Base compensation is competitive, with strong benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related engineering field (civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, construction management).
• Must be willing to travel and relocate throughout a career as Kiewit operates on a national scale.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and prepare work plans and packages.
• Support field surveying, as-built data, and daily labor timesheets.
• Prepare job hazard analyses and coordinate material deliveries.
• Assist in estimating, cost data, and change orders as needed.
