Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. in Florida (Boca Raton area) is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support underground and foundation projects, spanning field and office tasks. The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, safety consciousness, and opportunities for career growth and travel.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, preparing work plans, and supporting cost and schedule activities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (civil/mining/mechanical/geotechnical/construction mgmt).
• Strong reading of drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel and relocate across North America.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs.
• Assist in preparing work plans, job hazard analyses, and safety reviews.
• Support field surveying, data collection, and as-built data.
• Enter data into the job cost system and assist in cost reporting.
• Coordinate material deliveries and supervise field operations.
