Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. in Nashville is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field operations and district estimating on underground and foundation projects. You will assist in interpreting drawings, preparing takeoffs, and coordinating with field crews across multiple sites.

You will also participate in job planning, safety reviews, and data entry to support cost control and project delivery. Travel across North America is expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering.
• Willing to travel and relocate across the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Assist in preparing work plans, packages, and field surveys.
• Support daily labor tracking, JHA preparation, and safety reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers, project management, and subcontractors on site.
