Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Field Engineer to join our project teams. Based in Portland, OR, we work across 11 western states with regional offices in Reno, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Concord, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT.

As an entry-level Field Engineer, you will plan, schedule, and execute a defined project scope, coordinate with field labor, review drawings, and track progress while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical, industrial, civil engineering or related field.
• Previous internship experience, preferably in construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute the project scope assigned.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safe, on-schedule work that meets quality standards.
• Review drawings, track progress, and manage project records.
• Estimate future work and participate in work package preparation.
• Support LEAN construction initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
