Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks an entry-level engineer to learn HVAC Controls and BAS on Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 site. The role starts as a Field Controls Technician to gain hands-on experience with Metasys in a varied field environment.

This full-time position offers a day shift, a company vehicle, and generous time off. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and documentation while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of HVAC controls systems.
• Diagnose and repair electronic and digital control malfunctions.
• Test and modify system software as needed.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals and manuals; document field changes.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on Johnson Controls sites.
