Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Preferred disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of factory automation or related technical experience; internships may be considered.
- Experience with troubleshooting, testing, and failure analysis preferred.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze automation-related failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support emergency response for critical automation issues affecting production.
- Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and communication issues with cross-functional teams.
- Assist installation, commissioning, stabilization, and qualification of new automation equipment.
- Support integration of new technologies (vision, lasers, sensors, PLC devices, material handling).
- Coordinate with manufacturers, contractors, and stakeholders for upgrades and installations.
- Monitor performance and support continuous improvement to uptime and productivity.
- Assist with factory layout optimization and automation expansion projects.
- Review automation equipment investment related to capacity improvements and upgrades.
- Complete documentation, audits, and records; follow SOPs and safety procedures.
