Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking an entry-level Handyman to support daily maintenance and preventive tasks at a client site in Thousand Oaks. This role involves general labor, basic repairs, and adherence to safety standards to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient facility.

Expect to work under supervision with some collaboration across teams. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 0–1 year in facility maintenance, and a valid driver’s license if operating vehicles;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions; basic math skills.
• 0–1 year of facility maintenance or related work preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license (if operating moving vehicles).
• Trade certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility (doors, light mechanical, plumbing, painting, light bulb replacement).
• Assist HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems repairs as directed.
• Complete HS&E training; follow safety procedures and maintain safe workspace.
