Job summary

Verdant Ontario Mills LLC in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician with basic training in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing to support hotel facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and help ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency across guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a collaborative, guest-focused approach to operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all Engineering/Maintenance operations, maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant, with safety, security, and asset protection emphasis.
• Accounts for the maintenance budget, CAPEX projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation for the hotel.
• Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Ensures proper completion of all duties & projects assigned.
• Manages maintenance activities of guestrooms, public areas, back of house, and laundry operations.
• Maintains hotel appearance from entrance to roof, including parking, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
