Job summary

Carolina Hurricanes is seeking an entry-level Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems in the arena.

You will follow safety rules, participate in trainings, manage inventory, and support event operations by being flexible with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend and stoop for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on facility systems.
• Follow safety policies and dress code; attend meetings and trainings.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools.
• Support event operations with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
