Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking an entry-level Facilities Technician I to support the maintenance and operation of building systems under the guidance of senior engineers and the Manager, Facilities Engineering. You will develop technical skills while performing routine preventive maintenance and assisting with system repairs.

You will learn to monitor operations, complete work orders, follow safety guidelines, and support a 24/7/365 environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a technical facilities environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office, Jira, etc.).
• Flexibility with scheduling — including nights, weekends, and holidays — is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Support team members in troubleshooting and repairing building systems.
• Monitor building operations and report irregularities or potential issues.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as directed.
• Maintain tools, parts, and equipment in clean and organized condition.
• Complete assigned work orders and assist in record-keeping of maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and rounds of all building systems and equipment.
• Learn and apply safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Respond to facility issues and assist with emergency response procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to advance technical skills.
