Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an entry-level Facilities & Maintenance Technician I to support the facilities management team. You will perform routine maintenance, coordinate service requests, and assist with space planning to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Under supervision, you will help maintain building facilities and equipment, contributing to initiatives that support organizational objectives. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform maintenance tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Valid driver's license (if applicable to facility requirements).

Responsibilities

Assist in development and implementation of facility management plans.
Coordinate service requests, track work orders, and communicate with vendors.
Support space planning activities to optimize facility utilization.
Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Respond to routine maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain a safe environment.
