Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance/Mechanic to perform routine repairs across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will support facility safety and cleanliness while gaining hands-on experience with equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and light vehicles.

This role emphasizes a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn, with opportunities to grow in the maintenance field and take on increasingly responsible tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; further education in maintenance preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude with a customer service focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift trucks and order pickers experience preferred but will train.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• General Repairs: assist in repairing machinery, equipment, and structural components (painting, flooring, lighting).
• Basic Construction knowledge related to wood structure repairs.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose basic mechanical issues and assist with repairs under supervision.
• Safety and Compliance: maintain a safe and clean workspace, follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Documentation: record maintenance activities and service requests.
