Job summary

Four-State-Trucks is seeking an entry-level Facility Maintenance and Mechanic to perform routine building repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance. You will service forklifts, order pickers, golf cars, and other delivery vehicles while growing in the maintenance field.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical aptitude, are eager to learn, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training and a day shift are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain a positive attitude with a customer service focus.
• Forklift trucks and order pickers experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented, driven and a self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Team-oriented as well as able to work independently.
• One year of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license for driving company vehicles.

Maintenance/Entry Level Mechanic

This entry-level Facility Maintenance and Mechanic position willperform routine building repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, andHVAC maintenance, while ensuring facility safety and cleanliness. Also, basicmechanical aptitude to service and troubleshoot facility equipment such as:Forklifts, order pickers, golf cars, pickup trucks, vans, delivery vehicles.

Ideal opportunity for motivated individuals with strongmechanical aptitude and a desire to learn, focusing on preventive maintenanceand repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections andmaintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• General Repairs: Assist in repairing machinery,equipment, and structural components (painting, flooring, lighting).
• BasicConstruction knowledge as pertains to wood structure repair methods.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic mechanicalissues and assist with repairs under supervision.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and cleanworkspace, following all safety regulations and procedures.
• Documentation: Record maintenance activitiesand service requests.

Job Requirements
