Job summary
Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance technician to keep interior and exterior buildings safe and well-maintained at the DGR Ops Center in San Antonio, TX. You will perform light carpentry, basic electrical, painting, and general maintenance tasks while supporting a safe, clean work environment.
Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting structures for hazards, following safety rules, and maintaining tools and housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in general facility maintenance.
- Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain interior and exterior buildings in a hazard-/safe-free environment.
- Perform repairs using hand and power tools.
- Complete work orders and document assignments.
- Ensure proper safety compliance and housekeeping at the work-site.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
