Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Lancaster, PA seeks an entry-level Associate Technician to assist engineers with hands-on fabrication and testing of hardware for aerospace and defense applications.

You will be mentored to learn equipment operation, GD&T interpretation, and test setup, with opportunities to work toward independent responsibilities while ensuring quality and precision in every task.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. person per ITAR regulations.
• Preferred: 2-year technical degree from a trade school or college.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general technical procedures.
• Strong math skills including basic operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T) and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with fabrication and testing of hardware.
• Learn equipment operation from a mentor to work independently.
• Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components.
• Read drawings and GD&T per ANSI/ASME.
• Perform minor electrical work to set up tests.
