Qualifications

• Education: 2 year technical degree from an accredited trade school, college or university.
• Language: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general technical procedures and instructions.
• Mathematics: Basic math concepts used for tests and calculations.
• Reasoning: Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Computer: Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Machining and modifying simple components with milling machines or lathes.
• Soldering components using torch, hot plate or oven with proper flux and solder.
• Brazing components with torch or furnace; select appropriate process.
• Assist with welding and learn welding process and weld design.
• Perform leak checking using helium mass spectrometry in multiple modes.
• Set up tests and measure electrical equipment safely for tests.
• Fabricate hardware per drawings; ensure parts meet drawings and quality.
• Read and interpret GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Follow ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards; document work and prepare travelers.
• Ensure on-time delivery and maintain clean, organized work area.
• Conduct laboratory testing and record results; provide recommendations.
