Job summary

The role includes learning to use milling machines, lathes, soldering, brazing, and leak testing under a mentor, with the goal of becoming able to work independently. You will read and interpret drawings per GD&T standards, follow ISO quality processes, perform basic electrical setup, assembly prototypes, and help ensure on-time

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent from an accredited trade school, college, or university.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and instructions.
• Strong mathematical skills for heat pipe performance and test data analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication for reports and procedures.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate hardware and prototypes per instructions or engineering drawings.
• Interpret GD&T drawings and ensure tolerances and finishes are upheld.
• Set up tests, operate lab equipment, and collect data for analysis.
• Assist in leak checks, electrical wiring, and power measurements.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab and document work in the project folder.
