Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking entry level Utility hourly labor positions for our Extrusion Plant in Silsbee, TX. Starting pay rate is $20.63 per hour with a 12-hour rotating shift (days & nights) and a 3-4 day work week.

Duties include safe operation and support across the plant, with overtime as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and either one year of industrial experience or an associate degree in an industrial field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year industrial experience or an Associate Degree in an industrial occupation.
• Reliable and dependable, able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Decision making and troubleshooting abilities, good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned job duties in a safe and efficient manner within the extruder plant.
• Works anywhere in the plant as assigned and may require overtime, weekends and holidays.
