Job summary

Braconier is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Construction Estimator in Denver, CO to support preconstruction efforts for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to price scopes accurately and competitively.

Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, reading drawings, vendor quotes, and bid package support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping) is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Entry-Level Mechanical Construction Estimator

Department: Estimating / Preconstruction

Reports To: Senior Estimator or Senior Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team. In this role, you will assist in preparing cost estimates for mechanical systems on commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing of mechanical scopes such as HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
