Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to join our team and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators. You will build skills by working on various makes and models, pursuing a career path in service or operations management, all within a safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of technician experience, especially with diesel or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in a safety-focused environment.
• Support career growth through on-the-job training and potential advancement into service or operations management.
