Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an entry-level environmental professional to support field investigations and environmental characterization across Southern California, based in Pasadena, Irvine, or San Bernardino. You will assist with soil and groundwater sampling, Phase I/II ESAs, data entry, and reporting under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in Geology, strong technical writing, and good communication skills; willingness to travel up to 50% and pass required medical and drug screening.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Geology or related field required.
• Entry to 3 years post-degree; no experience to 3 years.
• Proficient in technical writing and verbal communication.
• Experience with field investigations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support field investigations including soil and groundwater sampling.
• Assist with borehole drilling and well installations as needed.
• Prepare Phase I/II ESA reports, work plans, sampling & analysis plans, and groundwater monitoring reports.
• Data entry, interpretation, and technical report writing for groundwater monitoring programs.
• Coordinate with staff, subcontractors, and project managers; assist in budget/schedule management.
