Job summary

August Mack Environmental, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Field Scientist to support environmental field operations across diverse project types.

Under supervision, you will perform groundwater and soil sampling, vapor intrusion studies, and monitoring well installations, while assisting with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments. You will develop skills in stormwater sampling, industrial hygiene inspections, and remedial construction support, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining

Qualifications

• Education requirements as stated: Associate or Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with related experience.
• Certifications mentioned include HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, RCRA, USDOT Hazmat as beneficial.
• Experience in environmental consulting is recommended (0–1 year).

Responsibilities

• Perform groundwater and soil sampling under guidance.
• Assist with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Support field operations, health & safety oversight, and subcontractor coordination.
• Wear Level C PPE with respirators when required and maintain field documentation.
