Job summary

Roux Consulting seeks an entry-level environmental field specialist to support the project team and Project Manager on investigation and remediation projects.

You will participate in field sampling, data review, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant field operations and accurate reporting. This role offers growth within a collaborative, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience typically required.
• Safely perform routine field activities including sampling techniques for environmental media.
• Oversee subcontractors and field operations.
• Strong work ethic with positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work.
• Entry level data evaluation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists other technical staff in calibration of sampling/monitoring equipment, soil sampling, well installation, development and purging, groundwater sampling, vapor/indoor air sampling, remediation monitoring, and oversight.
• Assists project team in preparation and review of data tables, soil boring logs, and figures and other components of technical reports.
