Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to support environmental compliance, remediation, permitting and planning projects. Position bases in PA/NJ/MD/VA with May–July 2027 start; priority to join as part of an exclusive Philadelphia hiring event.

Responsibilities include site visits, data collection, environmental sampling, and preparing reports under supervision while developing engineering design skills. Travel locally and regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
• Valid US Driver's License and MVRS review required.

Responsibilities

• Site visits at industrial, military bases, and municipal clients.
• Data collection and analysis for environmental compliance, sustainability, and stormwater projects.
• Environmental sampling (stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste).
• Development of technical memoranda and reports.
• Preparation of environmental reporting forms.
• Local travel and possible US travel depending on projects.
• Assist with engineering design under supervision; create drawings and calculations.
