Job summary

AECOM seeks Environmental Science Interns for a Philadelphia-based internship as part of an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event. The program offers hands-on experience in field and office settings with EPP teams, beginning May/June 2027, and a hybrid work arrangement in PA/NJ/MD/VA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Environmental Studies, GIS, or related field with at least 2 years completed
• Valid US Driver's License required; Motor Vehicle Records review will be conducted
• Graduates pursuing a Master’s degree are eligible to apply; enrollment must have continued in the same discipline
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future
• Hybrid work schedule includes in-office work in PA/NJ/MD/VA

Responsibilities

• Assist ecological teams with field surveys (streams, wetlands, wildlife habitats)
• Create field data sheets and reports
• Coordinate with governmental agencies on survey protocols and reporting standards
• Create field maps and reports using GIS (ESRI) software
• Review desktop information to support environmental impact assessments
