APTIM seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer to support federal environmental investigation and remediation projects in Concord, CA. You will work under project managers and collaborate with engineers, scientists, geologists, risk assessors, and technologists.

Responsibilities include field data collection, plan preparation, cost-estimate development, risk assessment, and remediation system design. A background in environmental engineering with internship experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related discipline (completed or in progress).
• Internship, research, or academic project experience in environmental investigation or water/wastewater treatment (0–2 years).
• Interest in environmental remediation, field investigations, and compliance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to learn field sampling methods and equipment operation.
• Ability to travel to work sites, including overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license and US work eligibility.

Mansioni

• Assist with collecting, documenting and organizing field data.
• Contribute to preparation of project work plans and deliverables.
• Support development of scopes of work and cost estimates for proposals.
• Identify environmental risks and remediation strategies for compliance.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyze environmental data.
