Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer to join our Resilience Environment team in Sacramento, CA. The role starts May/June 2027, with new grads encouraged to apply.

You will work with senior scientists and engineers on environmental assessment and remediation projects, supporting emerging contaminants and remediation capabilities. You will participate in field investigations, sampling, pilot programs, and full-scale remedial efforts, with periodic travel and client-facing

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• EIT Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance oversight for remediation systems (water and vapor treatment).
• Design and oversight of system improvement projects and upgrades.
• Soil and groundwater investigation and sample collection.
• Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies.
• Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC.
• Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support.
• Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff.
