Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services seeks a New Electrical Engineering student or graduate for an entry-level Test Engineer I position in Plano, TX. This temp-to-hire role supports new product introductions and manufacturing operations by developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for electronic products.

The role involves designing and maintaining test programs, developing fixtures, validating changes, troubleshooting issues, and supporting quality throughout development and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or an Associate with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a Test Engineering or related role.
• Experience developing test programs and validating specifications and requirements.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test fixtures, jigs, and automated test programs for electronic products.
• Validate engineering design changes and manufacturing process modifications.
• Plan and track Design for Testability (DFT) for new products.
• Analyze issues in prototype, pilot, and mass production and implement corrective actions.
• Support installation, qualification, and maintenance of test equipment including burn-in systems.
• Verify test specifications and procedures; prepare test plans and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance and manufacturability.
