Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Plano, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineering student or recent graduate for an entry-level Test Engineer role on a swing shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). This temp-to-hire position supports hands-on test engineering in a manufacturing environment.

The Test Engineer I will help with NPI and manufacturing test, designing and maintaining test fixtures, validating changes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, OR Associate degree with relevant work experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Test Engineering role.
Strong understanding of electronic circuits and test equipment.
Ability to read schematics, layouts, and engineering drawings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test fixtures, test jigs, and automated test programs for electronic products.
Evaluate and validate engineering design changes and manufacturing process modifications.
Plan and track Design for Testability requirements for new products.
Analyze issues from prototype builds to mass production and implement corrective actions.
Support installation and maintenance of test equipment including burn-in systems.
Verify test specifications and procedures and prepare validation documentation.
