Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking an assembler to read drawings, assemble electrical components, solder, test, and pack finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will follow process sheets, verify parts, operate hand tools, and maintain clean work areas while meeting safety standards. In this role you will stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and work with a team to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Less than one year related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to interpret and follow process sheets and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings, diagrams, and work orders.
• Follows written and manufacturing process instructions including basic circuit diagrams and charts.
• Verifies inventory of received parts against work orders.
• Connects units to test instruments and tests functional performance.
• Assembles electrical systems and installs components and sub-assemblies using tools and soldering equipment.
• Checks sub-assemblies for completeness and correctness of previous operations.
• Packs finished products for shipment and inspects assembles and finished products.
• Keeps workstation clean and follows safety procedures.
