Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Worker I to assemble and install components on commercial HVAC units in a fast-paced production environment.

The role supports quality standards, safety compliance, and timely production goals through hands-on tasks and teamwork. Responsibilities include following blueprints, performing quality checks, moving materials, and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to PPE and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install sub-assembly components on HVAC units per specs and work instructions.
• Read blueprints/diagrams/order forms to verify parts and assembly.
• Communicate with team across production line to maintain workflow and accuracy.
• Perform visual and functional quality checks on parts and assemblies.
• Move materials and finished products to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety practices.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or shortages to supervisors.
• Wear PPE and follow health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Complete production documentation and checklists.
• Specific tasks may include: using hand/power tools to fasten/cut/shape components; installing insulation, wiring, or ductwork; operating basic machinery; completing production docs.
