Job summary

Aleron is seeking a Final Assembler in Lockport, NY to support electronic production operations. This temporary position handles testing, troubleshooting and assembly of electronic components to meet production schedules and quality standards.

The role requires an AAS in electronics or equivalent, with preferred experience in electrical circuits, soldering, and SAP. Mon-Fri, 7am–3:30pm, competitive hourly pay in the $18-$24 range, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in electronics or equivalent.
• Electrical circuits and assemblies testing experience preferred.
• ESD practices knowledge.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Soldering skills highly preferred.
• Basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
• Ability to read and follow schematics and assembly documents.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components.
• Test and troubleshoot units using procedures and schematics.
• Handle semi-routine tasks and identify nonconformities.
• Follow safety requirements.
• Follow ISO practices and procedures.
• Maintain fixturing, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits and assemblies.
• Document test results accurately.
• Serve as technical interface with other departments.

Compensation: $18-$24/hour Depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri (7am - 3:30pm)

Performs testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment to meet production schedules and performance standards. Receives instructions on daily work and new assignments.

What You'll Do:

• Performs various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize nonconformities is required.
• Understands and follows all safety requirements.
• Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
• Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. May assist with training other AE employees in established processes.
• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Documents test results accurately.
• May act as the technical interface with other departments.
