Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Electrical Tester I to perform basic electrical testing tasks and preparation. The role focuses on ensuring parts meet standards, setting up tests, and documenting results in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, with 0–1 year in manufacturing. Ability to use small hand and power tools and read drawings is preferred, along with basic computer skills and English comprehension.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 0–1 year in manufacturing preferred
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools
• Able to read drawings and Bills of Material
• Basic computer skills
• Read and understand English instructions

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect products before testing for conformance
• Inspect testing equipment and test booth for proper operation
• Prepare product for test by safely making connections
• Document actions on production/quality forms
• Maintain safe, clean work environment
• Conserve resources in testing process
• Train others in testing tasks as needed
• Inspect all work to ensure requirements are met before passing to next operation
