Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Oregon. You will help design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, collaborating with senior engineers and clients to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure across projects.

You will prepare diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts, support power system studies, and coordinate with process, civil, and I&C disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs and construction documents.
• Develop single-line diagrams, layouts, and cable schedules.
• Support power system studies and arc flash analyses.
• Coordinate with process, civil, structural, and I&C disciplines.
• Participate in field investigations, startup activities, and commissioning support.
