RTX invites an entry-level Electrical Engineer to perform schematic capture and PCB layout for DoD-relevant products in an onsite role in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will contribute to circuit design reviews, testing, and integration with cross-functional teams, using MATLAB/Simulink for analysis and modeling.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, proficiency with schematics, and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field by start date.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuit design demonstrated through coursework, labs, or projects.
• Hands-on lab experience testing and debugging circuits and experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• As an entry level Electrical Engineer 1, you will perform schematic capture and PCB layout.
• You will conduct design reviews and verification testing to ensure circuit performance.
• You will test and debug circuits in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to select components and integrate designs.
• You will utilize tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Mathcad for analysis and modeling and will assist in defining layout constraints and reviewing PCB layouts for accuracy.
• You will support design for manufacturability and production release of circuit card assemblies.
