Job summary

V2X is seeking an Electrical Engineer I (T01) in Indianapolis, IN to support design, simulation, validation, and sustainment of defense hardware and subsystems. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience across power, analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal domains under moderate supervision.

You will assist in circuit design, create schematics, run basic SPICE/MATLAB analyses, and contribute to prototype lab bring-up, testing, and documentation as part of a growing engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Hands-on use of electrical lab tools: multimeter, power supply, oscilloscope, AWG, spectrum analyzer.
• Familiarity with schematic capture tools (Altium Designer) for circuit diagrams.
• Foundational understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal concepts.
• Basic circuit simulation experience (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Willingness to learn and collaborate on team projects.
• Strong communication and task management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and document intermediate complexity circuits (power, digital, analog) and document schematics.
• Perform basic circuit modeling and simulation for verification and margin analysis.
• Provide component selection guidance considering availability and lifecycle.
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to meet electrical and mechanical constraints.
• Support hardware bring-up, testing, and data collection in the lab.
• Participate in design reviews and update designs based on feedback.
