V2X Engineering in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team. You will design new products and test hardware, supporting development from concept through qualification, and work closely with systems, electrical, and production engineers on a range of DoD programs.

The role emphasizes 3D CAD modeling, hands-on support in production and testing, and collaboration with vendors and SMEs to craft robust solutions.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• BS in Engineering or STEM field.
• Ability to work on-site at the Indianapolis facility with a hands-on hardware team.
• Experience with mechanical components design, integration, or testing.

Responsibilities

• Design new products and test hardware across development stages.
• Support proposal, concept generation, and qualification testing.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, test, and production engineers.
• Engage vendors/SMEs for design decisions and perform design reviews.
