Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer at our Englewood, CO office. You will join a multi-disciplinary design team and participate in design support for pipeline, pump/compressor stations, and terminal projects nationwide.

A training program will help new engineers quickly become active contributors while you develop your skills in NEC concepts, instrumentation, and control narratives as part of a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of previous experience; able to communicate with peers, contractors, and clients clearly and efficiently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• FE Exam preferred; AutoCAD or Revit familiarity/experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC codes preferred; pre-employment drug screening required; valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls design support for pipeline, pump/compressor station, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
• Participate in a multi-disciplinary project team under supervision of a lead Electrical Engineer.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing and routing, and create P&IDs, one-lines, panel schedules, loop diagrams, and grounding drawings.
• Support QA/QC for deliverables and participate in site visits.
• Communicate with project team, clients, and vendors; assist in procurement of equipment and materials.
