Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer in our Englewood, CO office. We offer a training program to rapidly bring new engineers into our design team and support ongoing projects nationwide.

The role provides electrical, instrumentation, and controls design for pipelines, stations, and terminals, under supervision of a lead Electrical Engineer. Strong readiness to learn and grow is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 0–5 years of experience or less.
• Must communicate clearly with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Familiar with NEC codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls design support for pipeline, pump stations, and terminals nationwide.
• Assist in design and drawing production including P&IDs, One Lines, Panel Schedules, Loop Diagrams, Cable & Conduit Schedules, PLC Schematics, and related drawings.
• Perform load calculations and cable sizing/routing.
• Specification and procurement of equipment, instruments, materials.
• Communicate with project team, clients, and vendors; support QA/QC for deliverables; conduct site visits.
• Develop control narratives and operating philosophies.
